The largest appellation in the Northern Rhône, grown on more fertile soil than the neighbouring Hermitage vineyard. Plenty of Northern Rhône Syrah class and elegance, at surprisingly good value.

Tasting notes: Concentrated, inky black wine that gives you a hint of the intensity to come Fragrant bramble, black currants and berries, rounding off on the palate with silkiness and elegance.
Drink with: Lamb is ideal - done anyway. Grilled, cutlets, in burgers, with herbs etc. Mediterranean foods, pizzas, pastas, olives, oregano, sage rosemary and thyme. Grilled foods, cheeses and charcuterie boards. Serve at 18C. Drink now, can hold till 2024 - 2027.
