 David Large, rapper, poet, and all round cool guy who just happens to be one of Beaujolais’ most remarkable young winemakers. We haven’t seen anyone else coax this much depth and personality out of the Gamay grape.

Massaï, named for the spiritual side of combat, for the symbolic warrior. What are we fighting for? We don’t know, but we’d want David in our corner. A sleek Beaujolais Nouveau with depth, structure, and the ability to wear years of age, all your prior conceptions of generic Beaujolais Nouveau need to be discarded. Maybe that’s what the fight is all about.

Carbonic maceration, organic, unfiltered, no added sulphites. Tastes like juicy red cherries, plums, goji berries, with herbal woodsy notes. Serve lightly chilled (13C), store in a fridge and take it out 20 mins before service.
