100% Viognier

Condrieu, the storied, elusive unicorn of the Northern Rhône. Honestly, how often do you see a bottle of this? Lush, high altitude Viognier, draws you in with its heady aromas and never lets you go. 

Tasting notes: Absolutely explodes on the nose with nectarines, peaches, apricots, quince and almonds. A whiff like no other. Rounds off with a fat, rich, buttery finish. Peaches and cream barely sums it up. Drink now or up to 2025.

Drink with: On its own, to savour the aromas that linger endlessly. If you have to, with luxurious seafood such as lobsters, crabs, monkfish. Chinese style seafood like garoupa, bamboo clams, geoduck are also perfect. Serve at 10-12C. 

Winemaking notes: Vines are grown on very steep granite slopes, at an altitude of 300-350 metres. It's impossible to have machine harvesting on such steep slopes, so strictly hand harvesting only.
