Brunel de la Gardine Cairanne Rouge 2019

55% Grenache, 45% Syrah
Cairanne is the baby of the Southern Rhône, promoted to Cru status only in 2016. Cairanne wines uniquely include a high percentage of Syrah (a typically Northern Rhône grape) which give its wines freshness and beautiful aromas. The region's history reads like a who's who of ancient times - having been home to the Gauls, the Romans, the Barbarians, the order of the Templars, the Knights Hospitallers, and the Popes.
91 Robert Parker, 90 Jeb Dunnuck
