Seguin-Manuel Pommard "Petits Noizons" 2018

100% Pinot Noir 

Grown on clay and limestone soils with oxide and iron stones, on a south facing hill overlooking the village of Pommard. Lieu-dit. 

Grapes are vatted (juice fermented in contact with skins and seeds) for 16 days. Wine is matured in oak (20% new oak) for 14 months. Fresh red fruits, vanilla, mushrooms, leather. Great with soft stinky cheeses, mushrooms and truffles. 

Here is a little more aromatic complexity. Faintly reductive, muscular, deep flavour, fine mouth-watering intensity. A good finishing weight of flavour... well put together wine…"
